Broncos Brushing Off Trade Interest in Key Offensive Player

Unwilling to Part with Sutton

By [Author Name]

The Denver Broncos are reportedly brushing off trade interest in key offensive player Jerry Jeudy. According to sources, several teams have inquired about Jeudy's availability, but the Broncos have no intention of moving him.

Entering the 2024 season, Jeudy is set to earn a $13 million base salary, with only $2 million guaranteed. The Broncos are reportedly not willing to trade a player of his caliber at such a low cost.

"Jerry is a key part of our offense," said Broncos General Manager George Paton. "We're not interested in trading him." Jeudy, 23, was drafted by the Broncos with the 15th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. He has emerged as a reliable target for quarterback Russell Wilson, recording 1,022 receiving yards and six touchdowns in 2022.

The Broncos' stance on Jeudy is in line with their recent comments about their desire to build a competitive team around Wilson. Paton has stated that the team is looking to add impact players on both sides of the ball, and moving Jeudy would weaken the offense.

The Broncos are set to enter the 2024 season with a number of questions surrounding their offense. The team is still searching for a reliable running back to complement Jeudy and Courtland Sutton. They also have concerns about the offensive line, which struggled at times in 2022.
