Connor McDavid opened the scoring for the Oilers in the first period, but the Canadiens quickly responded with two goals from Jordan Harris. Leon Draisaitl tied the game at 2-2 in the third period, setting the stage for Bouchard's dramatic overtime winner. Jake Oettinger made 29 saves for the Oilers, while Sam Montembeault stopped 37 shots for the Canadiens.

The Oilers will look to extend their winning streak to 11 games when they host the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday night.
