Florida Panthers to Face Edmonton Oilers
Game 1 Set for June 8th
The National Hockey League (NHL) has announced the schedule for the 2024 Stanley Cup Final. The best-of-seven series will begin on Saturday, June 8 in Edmonton, Alberta. The Florida Panthers and Edmonton Oilers will face off in the championship round, with the winner hoisting the Stanley Cup.
The series will continue with Game 2 on Monday, June 10 in Edmonton before moving to Sunrise, Florida for Games 3 and 4 on Wednesday, June 12 and Friday, June 14. If necessary, Game 5 will be played back in Edmonton on Sunday, June 16, with Game 6 in Sunrise on Tuesday, June 18. A potential Game 7 would be played in Edmonton on Thursday, June 20.
The 2024 Stanley Cup Final will be the first time that the Panthers and Oilers have met in the championship round. The Panthers are making their second appearance in the Final, while the Oilers are making their first appearance since 2006.
